1. Abu Dhabi Police Website or App
Visit the Abu Dhabi Police website or download their mobile app via App Store or Google Play Store. You will need to sign up for an account and register your details first. Then, click on “Services” and search for the traffic fine you need to settle. You can search by entering your Emirates ID, driving license number, vehicle plate number, or traffic number.
2. Ministry of Interior Website or App
The Ministry of Interior website provides an option for paying traffic fines. You can do this by accessing “Traffic and License Services” and searching for your record. You can also download the MOI UAE mobile app on Google Play Store or App Store for the same purpose.
3. Emirates Vehicle Gate Website or App
The Emirates Vehicle Gate (EVG) is basically a “one stop shop” for all things related to vehicles. It offers more than 50 electronic services, including online payment of traffic fines.
To pay your dues, visit the EVG official website and register first. Then, select “Pay Traffic Fines” on the Home tab and search for your record. You can make a search by entering your driving license number, vehicle plate number, or traffic code number. Another option would be to download the EVG mobile app, sign up from there, and follow the onscreen instructions. Payments can be made using your credit card.
4. TAMM Website
Last but not the least, there’s TAMM, a digital platform operated by Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA) and offering a range of government services. Visit the TAMM official website and select “Traffic Violations and Fines” on the Home tab. Enter your Emirates ID and vehicle registration number, then settle your dues using your credit card, debit card, or E-dirham payment card. You will receive an e-receipt once the payment has been made.
As you can see, all of these options make it easier to pay traffic fines in Abu Dhabi. Of course, the best option would be to avoid incurring any fines as much as possible. This means that you must be aware of the city’s traffic rules and guidelines, and to follow them at all times.
