#1 – Corniche Beach

Where else can you find a gorgeous beach with a view of the Abu Dhabi skyline? Right here at Corniche Beach! It is divided into three areas: Al Sahil for singles and groups; Gate 2 is for families and includes a quiet zone; and Gate 2 is also for families, especially kids.

Corniche Beach is open daily, from 8am to 8pm. Entry tickets cost AED 10 for adults and AED 5 for children, while kids below five years old can enter for free!

#2 – Al Bateen Beach

You will find this beach at Al Bateen, along Khalifa Al Mubarak Street. It is the perfect place for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and other water sports activities! Notably, the Emirates Wildlife Authority has given this beach the prestigious Blue Flag Sustainability Award.

Al Bateen Beach is open daily, from 8am until sunset. It has around 100 parking spaces and several cafes around, so you don’t have to worry about getting hungry!

#3 – Al Bateen Beach for Women

This is a section of Al Bateen Beach that is exclusive for women and children only. In fact, up to 1,100 women and children can enjoy this private space, which is overseen by female lifeguards. Take note that cameras, animals, camping, and fishing are not allowed.

Al Bateen Beach for Women is open daily, from 8am to 9pm. Entry costs AED 25 per adult and AED 5 for children aged 3 to 12 years old. Boys above 6 years old are not permitted.

#4 – Intercontinental Bayshore

This is a private beachfront destination that includes 300-metres of natural beachfront, an infinity pool, and a separate children’s pool. It also has a restaurant, day spa, health and sports facilities, and a play area for kids… the perfect place for families!

Intercontinental Bayshore is open daily, from 8am to 8pm. On weekdays, admission costs AED 150 per adult, AED 270 for couples, and AED 80 for kids. During weekends, the rates are AED 200 for adults, AED 390 for couples, and AED 100 for kids.

#5 – Mirfa Beach

This is the only developed beach in Al Dhafra, a great spot for camping since it’s usually not crowded for most of the year. It is definitely a haven for water and nature lovers!

Interestingly, Mirfa Beach hosts the Al Gharbia Watersports Festival every year. You can join or watch exciting competitions, like kayaking, kite boarding, and wake boarding. Live entertainment is featured in the evenings, while guests can enjoy their stay in camping facilities.

#6 – Nation Riviera Beach Club

This is a private beachfront destination situated near the five-star St. Regis Abu Dhabi. Open to hotel guests as well as day visitors, it includes a 200-metre stretch of private beach, a swimming pool with a swim-up bar, an open-air Jacuzzi, and a children’s club.

The Nation Riviera Beach Club is open daily, from 6am until sunset. Admission costs AED 300 during weekdays and AED 400 on weekends.

#7 – Saadiyat Beach

Situated on Saadiyat Island, this beach is one of the most popular beach destinations in the UAE. Guests here can enjoy swimming, sailing, windsurfing, and other water sports activities. Likewise, they can also take a walk along a protected nature zone, which is dedicated to preserving the environment and wildlife, including Hawksbill turtles.

Saadiyat Beach is open daily, from 8am until sunset. Tickets cost AED 25 for adults and AED 15 for kids.

#8 – Saadiyat Beach Club

As the name suggests, this is a private section along Saadiyat Beach. It includes an outdoor swimming pool, a spa, sauna and steam rooms, and a workout room. You can also choose from different restaurants that serve local and international cuisines.

Open from 8am until sunset, the Saadiyat Beach Club is also a place where you can explore nature’s beauty. If you’re lucky, you might even see some Hawksbill turtles and dolphins!

#9 – Yas Beach

Located on Yas Island, this beach can be reached when you stay in any of the island’s hotels and hotel apartments. There are several bars and restaurants nearby where you can indulge in a hearty meal after a day of swimming and water sports activities.

Yas Beach is open daily, from 10am to 7pm. On weekdays, entry costs AED 50 for adults and AED 25 for kids, while weekend rates are AED 100 for adults and AED 50 for kids. Children below 8 years old can enter for free.
