A Visit to the Magnificent Qasr Al Watan

What can visitors expect to see at Qasr Al Watan? Here are just a few:

Beautiful Architecture. Even from the outside, the Palace is simply magnificent and breathtaking! Upon entering, you will see beautiful and ornate designs that are uniquely Arabian in nature. Through interactive screens, you can also learn more about the country’s colourful history.

Historic Collections. Inside the Palace, you will find the Qasr Al Watan Library, which features a huge collection of books about the history and culture of the UAE.

Gifts & Souvenirs. The Palace has two gift shops, located at the main Palace and Visitor Centre, respectively. Here, you can buy gifts and souvenirs as a remembrance of your visit to this historic landmark.

Dining Options. For a taste of local and international cuisine, head to Al Fowala or Dhiyafat Qasr Al Watan, located in the main Palace. Likewise, you can also have some snacks at Maqha Al Maktaba in the Library, as well as in Legma outlets at Zayed Gate, Visitor Centre, and the main Palace.

Light & Sound Show. After a busy and exciting day, be sure to stay for a spectacular light and sound show in the evening. Set in three acts, the show focuses on the past, present, and future of the emirates.

Tickets & Tour Prices
The Palace is open daily, from 10am to 8pm. You can opt for a Garden Only Ticket, which enables you to see the Gardens and Visitor Centre; or a Palace & Garden Ticket, which grants additional access to the main Palace, exhibits, public spaces, and all zones in the site.

The ticket costs for each adult or junior visitor are as follows:

Garden Only Ticket – AED 25 (Adult) / AED 12 (Junior)
Palace & Garden Ticket – AED 60 (Adult) / AED 30 (Junior)

In addition to a Palace & Garden Ticket, you can also opt for a Guided Tour, which is directed every 30 minutes by a tour guide. The tour prices per visitor are as follows:

Standard Guided Tour (English) – AED 30
Standard Guided Tour (Arabic) – AED 30
Private Guided Tour (English) – AED 600
Private Guided Tour (Arabic) – AED 600
