18th October 2016. Abu Dhabi, UAE. Sofitel Corniche Abu Dhabi introduced Late Weekend Breakfast that allows guests to enjoy a leisurely meal on their terms every Friday and Saturday until 16:00.
Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche brings a carefree French joie de vivre to life through one of its brand markers, La Grasse Matinée. Late breakfast features key pillars, central to the breakfast experience at Sofitel Hotels & Resorts: premium tea and coffee, freshly squeezed juices, healthy options and regional cuisine. This season breakfast menu at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche was revamped, expanding into international cuisines according to changing consumer preferences. Weekend breakfast buffet features waffles and crepes station, made-to-order eggs, an antipasti corner, organic raw salad bar, Arabic cold mezzeh, carving, grill as well as Indian station. A separate corner is dedicated to a wide selection of popular pastries like the trendy cronuts, baklava croissants, doughnuts, fruits, etc.
In addition to the elaborate breakfast dishes, diners can opt for a main course from a set menu that include poached salmon with wild mushroom veloute, green asparagus & balsamic shallots, pistachio crusted lamb rack with vegetable ratatouille and spicy slow cooked chicken with fried green tomatoes.
“Our French Pastry Chefs invite you to visit Waffle and Crepes station that offers wide selection of waffles, crepes, pancakes, French toasts, muffins, cronuts, etc. I recommend to try freshly made Oreo waffles that are crunchy on the outside with Oreo paste from the inside. They are topped with homemade vanilla bean ice cream and lots of caramel sauce, crème patisserie, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries & double cream,” says Executive Chef Kim Gates.
