Premyo Bonds Introduced to Filipino Community in Abu Dhabi

On 23rd November 2019, the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi hosted a financial literacy forum attended by the Filipino community as well as representative from Land Bank of the Philippines, Philippine National Bank, and other partner banks.

The forum featured the launching of Premyo Bonds, which was presented by Erwin Sta. Ana, Deputy Treasurer of the Philippines, a press release from the Embassy reported.

What exactly is it all about? In a nut shell, Premyo Bonds:

Are one-year investment securities for investors, cooperatives, and associations;
Provide people opportunities to invest in government securities;
Offers a chance to win cash prizes of up to PHP 1 milion per quarter; and
Are available for a minimum investment of just PHP 500!

“It is a tacit recognition of the significance of an empowered Filipino community as having the capacity to spur economic growth in the Philippines through remittances and bonds,” stated Marford Angeles, Deputy Head of Mission of the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
