Families living in the UAE with at least one child can sign up for a Fazaa discount membership at no cost until the end of 2026. Fazaa is offering the free membership with the UAE Ministry of Family as part of the country’s Year of the Family initiative. It gives households access to savings on groceries, hotels, shopping, and leisure.
According to Fazaa, there is no membership fee, and applications will be accepted throughout the year.
What the Membership Includes
The free Family membership connects holders to Fazaa’s network of partner offers in the UAE and abroad. Fazaa listed these main benefits:
- Retail and services: Offers at more than 34,000 outlets in the UAE and other countries
- Groceries and household items: Reduced prices on more than 28,000 food and consumer products through Fazaa Stores
- Travel: Special rates and packages at more than 500,000 hotels worldwide through Fazaa Places
- Leisure: Up to 70% off selected tickets and experiences in the Fazaa app
For families managing monthly budgets, these discounts can help with regular spending as well as occasional trips and outings.
Who Qualifies
Fazaa said the program is open to resident families in the UAE with 1 or more children. Either parent may submit the application on the family’s behalf.
Each household is limited to 1 Family membership. Residents who already hold another active Fazaa membership can still apply. Fazaa said the Family membership is issued as a separate card, so both memberships can stay active at the same time.
Application Steps and Processing Time
Applications are submitted online through the official Fazaa website, www.fazaa.ae, on a phone or computer. Applicants need to enter their personal details and upload supporting documents, including an Emirates ID.
Fazaa recommends switching to a computer or tablet if you have trouble taking photos of documents or uploading them on a mobile phone. Its contact center also has a support team to answer questions and help with activating digital membership cards.
Once approved, memberships are usually issued within 72 working hours, according to Fazaa.
How Long the Membership Lasts
The free Family membership is valid only during 2026. Fazaa said it will expire at the end of the Year of the Family, so households that want to use the benefits this year should apply soon.
